Day 1: Agadir
Upon your arrival to Morocco, your multilingual driver will be waiting for you to drive you to your Hotel, where you can have some rest and get ready for a lifetime adventure.
Day 2: Agadir – Taroudant – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
We will start our lovely morning with a typical warm breakfast, and then we will leave Agadir towards its mesmerizing countryside. We will first stop in Taroudant, “The little Marrakech”, to wander through the authentic old houses and discover the impressive Berber Culture. We continue to Ouarzazate, crossing Taliouine, the authentic Berber village basically known for the fragrant Moroccan saffron.
We will drive through the varied landscapes and the little Berber villages towards The Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, the biggest and most beautiful Kasbah in Morocco. The Kasbah is an old fortified Ksar (Royal Palace) with the most splendid Moroccan treasures.
The last stop on today’s Agadir Desert Tours 8 Days would be Ouarzazate the Royal Gate of the Moroccan Sahara.
We will have a tempting local dinner, and then spend the night in a spectacular Local Hotel, as you can see the most fascinating Atlas Mountains views from your own beautifully decorated window.
Day 3: Ouarzazate – Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Rissani – Merzouga
Early in the morning, we will have our Sahara breakfast to start driving you through one of the most adventurous roads in the world, the famous Tizi’N Tichka Pass.
We will first stop in Kela’a Megouna “The Valley of Roses”, the most Romantic town in Morocco, where you can find every street is beautifully covered with fragrant pink roses. We will continue our way through the old Sahara regions to get to the magical Dades valley. We will have a short walk in the green paradise to see the tremendous Cliffs, the mesmerizing rock pools and swimming holes.
Afterward, we will stop in Todra Gorges, the mesmerizing orange cliffs and one of Morocco’s premier sport climbing destinations. Your personal driver will take you from luscious greenery and golden mountains to countless rectangular-shaped homes and a deep blue sky with streaking clouds.
Next, we will continue our Agadir Sahara Tours to Merzouga via Rissani the Sahara Market center.
We will have a tempting local “Medfouna” (Berber Pizza) for dinner and then spend the night in a lovely authentic Hotel.
Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Erg Chebbi (Sand Dunes)
Our next journey starts with an early inspiring camel trek in the perfect Dunes of the Sahara Desert. We will be admiring the quietness of the wide Sahara and the peaceful Sunrise, where you can see nothing but a charming sea of sands meeting the golden sun.
After that, we will have a visit to Rissani, the old Sahara Market and the homeland of the Moroccan Ruling dynasty. Discovering their old culture, walking through its colorful souks and mud houses.
We will spend our night in an exotic Desert Camp, gathering around the campfire, enjoying the most delicious Berber Tagine and staring at the magnificent night sky.
Day 5: Merzouga – Alnif – N’kob – Zagora
As soon as we have our fresh Sahara breakfast, we will leave the dunes towards another beautiful landscape, the marvelous dunes of Zagora.
We pass by incredible Palm trees Oases and spectacular Berber villages, crossing together Alnif, The small dusty desert town. We will also have a stop in N’kob village, where we can discover splendid Kasbahs surrounded by modest pink stump walls.
We will continue to Zagora via Tazarine town, where we would take our camels to a fascinating Desert Camp in the middle of The magical Sahara Dunes of Zagora. We will spend the night in a luxurious tent enjoying the authentic Nomadic vibes.
Day 6: Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After a typical local breakfast, we will leave the golden Sahara of Zagora passing by Draa Valley and Agdz, where we would wander through the classic caravanserai oasis with a still-pristine palmeraie and ancient mudbrick kasbahs.
We will stop again in Ouarzazate, to have a traditional dish for lunch, and then visit The incredible Film Studio.
We continue towards Marrakech through the winding Pass of Tizi n’Tichka over the great High Atlas Mountains.
Our lovely dinner would be served in a local restaurant in Jemaa-El-Fna, and then spend the night in a wonderful traditional Riad.
Day 7: Marrakech Sightseeing
As soon as we have our appetizing breakfast, Travel Across Morocco’s Team will enchant you with a visit to the beaten vivid heart of Morocco, the Red Marrakech.
We will start by walking through the red narrow alleyways of the old Medina, as we step into its old history, exploring the local life and discovering the fascinating handicrafts, beautifully made to reflect the extreme beauty and magic of this vivid old city.
Next, we will stop in The Bahia Palace, the spectacular Royal Palace where you can admire the fascinating Moroccan architecture and classical majestic designs.
Then, we will guide you through Jack Majorelle garden to get some fresh air and admire the marvelous green Moroccan-Style Gardens. We would also discover the Minaret, hammams, fountains, artisan workshops, historical sites, gardens and museums, and so many hidden treasures.
We will spend our evening wandering through “Jemaa El Fna Square”, admiring Musicians, storytellers, Henna Women, Magicians, snake and monkey charmers. We would also try there the most delicious Marrakech street food.
At the end of our Marrakech Guided Tour, we will go back to our Hotel in Marrakech to get some rest.
Day 8: Marrakech – Agadir
On the last Day of Our Agadir Desert Tours, we will leave The red Marrakech towards Agadir, where we would drop you off at your Hotel or in the Airport.
