Day 1: Casablanca (Airport Transfer)
Our professional Multilingual driver will meet you at your arrival station, Mohammed V airport Casablanca, to drive you to your luxurious hotel to have some rest and get ready for an unforgettable adventure.
Upon your arrival, you may also enjoy a visit to the fabulous Casablanca overlooking the Atlantic ocean. The huge Mosque is perfectly built giving the prayers the feeling of praying directly on the sea.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fes
On the next day of our Casablanca Sahara Tours, we will leave Casablanca heading to Morocco’s capital, Rabat city. We will first visit The Hassan Tower overlooking The Bou-Regreg River. Hassan Tower is a dramatic unfinished minaret which became a spectacular place for storks nest. Next, we’ll visit the charming Mausoleum Mohammed-V decorated with patterned zellige (traditional Moroccan tiles) and carved plaster.
The following stop would be Meknes, The old Ismailia Capital, where we would enter the high city walls wandering through the windy narrow streets of the old Medina. Discovering the high majestic Gates, and the royal granaries and huge stables. We will next visit Volubilis the magnificent Roman site, where you would admire the ancient Roman architecture and marvelous surviving castles.
The last stop on today’s Casablanca Sahara Tours would be Fes the old city to spend the night in a traditional historical Riad.
Day 3: Fes sightseeing
Your Fes Guided Tours starts by picking you up from your Hotel or historic Riad in Fes, then drive towards The Old Medina, the beaten heart of Morocco. The old Medina is a maze-like walled city filled with hidden history and marvelous surviving cultures.
We will enter the Medina from its Royal entry, “Bab Boujloud”, “The Blue Gate” where you would admire the stunning architecture and Majestic decoration, made of spectacular marble, and authentic blue Moroccan tiles, which perfectly turn to green at the other side of the gateway. We will take you through the very narrow streets lined with small shops selling the most captivating handicrafts and handmade items beautifully made to represent the ancient everlasting Moroccan culture.
Afterwards, we will visit the Madrasas (Islamic Schools), The Chouara Tannery, where real leather is being naturally shaped and colored. We will move next to The Merenid tombs, a few giant tombs that sit on the hill above Fes giving the most dramatic and mysterious scene.
Then, we will start exploring outside the walled city starting by the magnificent Royal Palace, where you would get amazed by the spectacular decoration of its hefty brass doors, and the most splendid Moroccan architecture. We would also visit “El Mellah”, the first Jewish quarter in Morocco, an extremely well-preserved walled quarter with a gold souk, large windows and open balconies lining the street, which make a complete contrast of The Old Medina.
After exploring every inch of the Fes the authentic city, we will take you to the south and north defensive towers of Fes to have the most charming panoramic view of the old Medina. Last, we will go back to our Riad to have a traditional dish for dinner and then have some rest.
Day 4: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Desert)
On the next morning, we will leave the old city heading towards the spectacular Moroccan Sahara.
We will drive through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing by the most charming landscapes and captivating Berber villages, to the first stop in Ifrane, The marvelous Mountains town. Ifrane city, or “Little Switzerland”, is well known for its clean mountains air, scrubbed streets and leafy outlook.
Next, we will stop in Africa’s largest cedar forest, to play with the funny little Monkeys and admire the fragrant cedar forest trails. Travel Across Morocco
Then, we will pursue our Morocco Sahara Tours 10 Days to The Berber town of Rocks, The beautiful Midelt. We will have our Berber Tagine in a cozy Berber-style restaurant, where Vegetables will taste so different, appetizing, fresh and tasty when cooked in a Moroccan Tagine.
Last, we will continue to Merzouga village through Erfoud. Merzouga is Morocco’s magnificent Door the Majestic Sahara. We will find our camels waiting to take us on the most memorable Camel Trek, during the inexplicably magical sunset.
We will spend the night in an intimate desert camp, gathering around the campfire, and listening to the exotic Sahara Music.
Day 5: Tour around Erg Chebbi by 4×4 – camel ride and night in desert camp
Our next journey starts by an early inspiring camel trek in the perfect golden Dunes of the Sahara Desert. We will be admiring the quietness of the wide Sahara and the peaceful Sunrise.
After that, we will have a visit to Rissani, the old Sahara Market and the homeland of the Moroccan Ruling dynasty. Discovering their old culture, walking through its colorful souks and mud houses.
In the late evening, we will head to our traditional exotic Hotel in Merzouga to have some rest.
Day 6: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges
After a tempting Sahara breakfast, we will leave the golden Merzouga, passing by the marvelous Sahara villages and green oases. The first stop will be Todra Gorges, the mesmerizing orange cliffs and one of Morocco’s premier sport climbing destinations.
We will continue our way through the old Sahara regions to get to the magical Dades valley. We will have our tasty Moroccan dish for Dinner and spend the night in a lovely Hotel along the charming Dades River.
Day 7: Dades – Roses Valley – Skoura – Ouarzazate
As soon as we have our fresh breakfast, we will have a short walk in the green paradise to see the tremendous Cliffs, the mesmerizing rock pools and the beautiful swimming holes.
We will pursue our Casablanca Desert Tours through the captivating Desert Regions and green Oases to Kela’a Megouna, The Valley of Roses, where we can a tempting Berber Tagine for lunch and wander through Morocco’s most Romantic Town, as the whole village is perfectly covered with pink roses. We will continue to Skoura, a paradise of palm and olive trees dotted with kasbahs and small villages, where we can lose ourselves in the extreme charm of the fabulous nature and meet the humble southern Sahara Berbers.
We move on to Ouarzazate, The Epic Gateway of The Moroccan Sahara, where we would spend the night in a spectacular Local Hotel, as you can see the most fascinating Atlas Mountains views from your own beautifully decorated window.
Day 8: Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech
We will start our next Casablanca Desert Tour by exploring the epic Sahara town starting by the large International Film Studio, discovering its captivating Moroccan treasures and the home of International Masterpieces, as “Gladiator”, “The Jewel of the Nile” and “Game of Thrones.” We would also take you through the old Mud Buildings with the most fascinating Atlas Mountains Views.
The following Destination would be Ait Ben Haddou, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and the fortified Ksar(Royal Palace). The Kasbah is also an international Film location and a perfect destination to explore the ancient Moroccan Mud Architecture.
After a spectacular tour and a tempting Tagine in the old Kasbah, we will start driving towards Marrakech through the most dangerous road in Morocco, Tizi n’Tichka Pass, the road of A Thousand Kasbah. Our last stop would be Marrakech, where we will check in our luxurious Hotel to finally get some rest.
Day 9: Marrakech Guided Tour
As soon as we have our appetizing breakfast, Travel Across Morocco’s Team will enchant you with a visit to the beaten vivid heart of Morocco, the Red Marrakech.
We will start by walking through the red narrow alleyways of the old Medina, as we step into its old history, exploring the local life and discovering the fascinating handicrafts, beautifully made to reflect the extreme beauty and magic of this vivid old city. Next, we will stop in The Bahia Palace, the spectacular Royal Palace where you can admire the fascinating Moroccan architecture and classical majestic designs.
Then, we will guide you through Jack Majorelle garden to get some fresh air and admire the marvelous green Moroccan-Style Gardens. We will spend our evening wandering through “Jemaa El Fna Square”, admiring Musicians, storytellers, Henna Women, Magicians, snake and monkey charmers. We would also try there the most delicious Marrakech street food.
At the end of our Marrakech Guided Tour, we will go back to our Hotel in Marrakech to get some rest.
Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca
After a warm typical Marrakech breakfast, we may have a walk-in Marrakech and then start heading towards Casablanca, leaving behind the warm side of Morocco and admiring the splendid landscape changes.
At the end of our services, we will drop you off at your hotel, or drive you to Casablanca Airport.
